Course Overview

Immerse yourself in the stillness and depth of Yin Yoga with this 50-hour teacher training at Barefoot Yoga Studio.

This course is open to all yoga practitioners—whether you’re an experienced teacher looking to expand your knowledge or a dedicated student wanting to deepen your personal practice. No prior teaching qualification is required.

Accredited by Yoga Alliance International, this training will provide you with a strong foundation in Yin Yoga’s philosophy, principles, and teaching methodology.

Course Structure

Through a balance of self-study and hands-on learning, you’ll explore the energetic and physical benefits of Yin Yoga, understand the role of fascia, and refine your ability to guide others in this deeply meditative practice.

The training consists of 35 contact hours delivered in-studio, with an additional 15 hours of self-study and a written assignment to support your learning.

As well as deepening your personal understanding, this course will give you the skills to teach Yin Yoga as a specialised practice, helping you confidently lead classes that promote stillness, mindfulness, and energetic balance.

Study Format

Flexible contact hour options available as follows:

  • Two-Weekend Format (All In-Studio)
    • Weekend sessions run Saturday and Sunday 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
    • Weekend 1: Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd August
    • Weekend 2: Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th August
  • Blended Hybrid Format (In-Studio & Online)
    • Weekend In-Studio: Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th September (9:30 am – 5:30 pm)
    • Evening Online Sessions: Thursday & Friday evenings (6:30 pm – 9:30 pm) September 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th

A recognised qualification of 50 Hour Diploma in Yoga Teaching (YAI – 200) accredited by Yoga Alliance International (YAI)

Entry Requirements: This course is suitable for everyone, a prior teaching qualification is not needed.
